| This idea comes to
us from a military wife wanting to decorate their kid's walls but it
could not be permanent...thus the idea was born. Similar
to decoupage, not only is it simple but costs practically nothing to do!
Material's and Tools Needed:
- Fabric or Paper (works best with fabric)
- Scissors
- Paint brush
- Flour
- Water
Step one: Cut out all pictures & shapes and from your
fabric or paper.
Step two: Make a paste with the flour and water. Mix it into
a pancake like consistency.
Step three: Use it like glue to paste your pieces onto your
wall. ( Make sure wall is clean so it sticks well.) Light brushing over
the top to seal it and let it dry overnight.
When you are ready to remove...or move...just wet it with a sponge
and life off the fabric. Should last as long as your stay on
base...a few months any way...LOL.
This idea is so simple your kids can even help! Let them choose items
to reflect their taste and style. Because it's so easy to change, let
their imagination run wild. |
