Step four: Add your embellishments. Using two
different beaded fringes, one in pink and a longer one in iridescent
white, hot glue them on the back side. One over the other making sure
the edging does not show from the front. (See photos at right.)

Because this is a custom designed piece try to think
beyond the normal. Sequences, buttons, or appliqués made from felt cut outs
can be hot glued on to embellish your wall hanging. Place them all over or use
them to outline something.
Step five: Measure your ribbon before cutting to
find out how long you want to have it. Then tie the end onto the dowel
allowing some to hang freely. Cut the ends off to form a nice edge. Then
take another color piece to tie the bow on top.
To fancy it up! Tie an extra coordinating piece of
ribbon on the piece hanging (see below). Cinch up part of the white hanging
piece and tie it off above the wooden dowel. This will give the
illusion of a perfectly tied bow.
